Registration Information

Registration for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 School Year

Registration is now open for both the current school year and the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

When filling out your pre-registration form, simply ensure you select the correct school year (2025-2026 or 2026-2027) from the dropdown menu on the pre-registration form.

Which year should I choose?

  • 2025-2026: For students starting school immediately or during the current term.
  • 2026-2027: For students starting school in August 2026.

New Students

Your child is "New" if they have never attended an RTSD26 school (including Prairie Trails Pre-K or ECDEC).

  1. Complete the pre-registration form
  2. Important: Select the correct school year (2025-26 or 2026-27) before submitting.

  3. You will receive an email with instructions on how to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal to finish enrollment after you have completed the pre-registration form.

    Pre-K Waitlist: Tuition-paying spots for the 2025-2026 Blended Pre-K are currently full. If you're interested in joining our wait list, please complete this form. The district offers another pre-k program, the Early Childhood Developmental Enrichment Center (ECDEC), housed at Euclid School. Click here for more information about ECDEC.

Returning Students

Your child is "Returning" if they have attended or are attending an RTSD26 school (including Pre-K).

  1. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

  2. Select the tab for your student at the top of the page.

  3. Complete all forms until they show a "Submitted" status.

Some important PowerSchool notes:

  • If you have forgotten your PowerSchool login information, please contact aperez@rtsd26.org. 

  • If you have more than one child to register, please note that there are separate tabs for each student near the top of the page. 

  • Forms are finished when “Submitted” appears next to each section with the exception of Form B1, which will display “Pending Review” until approved/rejected by a staff member.
