Our district, along with the Illinois Department of Public Health, will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Euclid Elementary School (711 E. Euclid Avenue) on Monday, September 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. This will be for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which has been authorized and recommended for anyone 12 years of age and older. The second dose will be administered on Tuesday, October 12, also from 5 to 7 p.m. at Euclid.

Walk-ins will be welcome at this clinic and no appointments are necessary. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will need a signed consent form. Consent forms will be available on-site. Remember, vaccinated students do not need to quarantine if they are close contacts to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (unless they are experiencing symptoms).

For more information on the vaccine, check out the health department’s FAQs. If you are unable to make it, you can still schedule a vaccination appointment at vaccines.gov.
