Indian Grove Bus Information
The District has contracted with Grand Prairie Transit to provide student transportation. Bus status questions (route information, pick-up times, complaints, etc.) should be addressed to Grand Prairie Transit's dispatch center at (847) 640-2142.
Student ID Cards and Bus Transportation
Please note: All students will receive an ID, regardless of their regular means of transportation.
ID Card Use
At Indian Grove, IDs will only be used for transportation. They should remain attached to your child’s backpack.
Families currently signed up for transportation should have already received route information by email.
- Route information is also available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal under:
- Forms → Transportation and Replacement IDs
- You can also request a replacement ID through this form at any time during the year.
- If you need help accessing your PowerSchool account, contact aperez@rtsd26.org.

My Ride K-12 App
To view your child’s bus activity—including scan-in/out times, bus location, and notifications if the bus is running late—download the My Ride K-12 app.
How to Get Started
- Download My Ride K-12 from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Open the app and search for “River Trails District 26.”
- At the login page:
- If you don’t already have an account, click Register.
- Enter your email address, password, and name.
- Confirm your registration via the email you receive.
- Log in and add your student(s):
- Go to My Students → +
- Enter the unique information required by the district.
- Repeat for additional students.
- Tap your child’s profile to view transportation information.
- Keep the app updated and stay logged in to receive district notifications.
