Welcome to the Prairie Trails PTC!
Our goal is to promote a close relationship between the home, the school, and the community by enriching the children's education and promoting social interaction.
You ask what is PTC? PTC stands for Parent Teacher Council, consisting of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all students. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding.
What is the PTC and who can be a Member?
This year we have had the pleasure of creating a new PTC for our brand new Prairie Trails school. The PTC currently is made up of several parents, including Stephanie Camardo, Colleen Sheahan, and Kathy Sagris and not to mention our wonderful school staff and volunteers. So, who can be a member? If you’re a father, mother, protector, guardian, and/or a person who teaches or instructs at Prairie Trails and you would like to participate in various events then we would love to have you become a member.
PTC Programs & Fundraising
Our primary objective as a PTC is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. As a newly starting PTC we are still developing programs for our school.
Become a Volunteer….Why YOU should get involved!
We need your help, and so do your child(ren). Here at Prairie Trails, we strive for excellence and what better way than to become involved today. We are in need of growth and are seeking volunteers to continue re-establishing the organization. We are planning some exciting events this year and next in hopes to get more parents involved in their children’s education. The PTC is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own.
