Centralized Kindergarten at Park View School
This is the image for the news article titled Centralized Kindergarten at Park View SchoolOn Tuesday, July 16, the River Trails Board of Education voted to open Park View School as a kindergarten center for the 2020-2021 school year.  All District 26 kindergarteners will attend Park View School in 2020.  In addition our special education preschool classes, which include tuition students, will also learn at Park View School.  Bilingual preschool will move to Euclid school and ECDEC preschool location is to be determined.
District 26 students in grades 1-5 will attend Euclid or Indian Grove schools based on current boundaries.  With 5 classrooms open from kindergarten moving to Park View School, class sizes can remain consistent, art and music will have classrooms and special education teachers, interventionists and English language teachers will have adequate space for student learning.
Many decisions will need to be made regarding transportation, school start times, before/after school care and more.  Please check the website at the beginning of each month and look for the River Trails Review, the District 26 newsletter mailed to all residents four times a year, for more information on how to participate in and learn about decisions.
