In Resource class, educational support is given to students in Special Education.  Students work on individual goal areas. Besides academic support, students work on organizational skills, study skills, and test taking strategies. Students receive help with needed assignments, help in planning for future projects, and work on specific areas of need on an individual basis.

Expectations of students in 7th Grade Resource Students

--Use your assignment notebook to record all daily assignments, long term projects, and test dates.

--Come to class prepared to work.  Bring your assignments that you need to work on.

--Use your time in class wisely.  Seek help on the assignments that you are having the most difficulty with.

--Respectful behavior towards your teachers and peers is expected at all times.

--Occasionally, your teacher will decide which subjects need to be worked on, especially when tests are coming up or if you start falling behind in your work.

--Occasionally, your teacher will ask you to work on specific areas of identified need.  Please be cooperative!

If you feel you need more help in any area, Mrs. Fiordirosa is usually available before school or after school.  Whenever there are upcoming tests, I have study sessions before school for several days until the test date.
Please make a good decision to come for extra help!
