The 5th Grade Orchestra is made up of players with one or more years of experience; members of the 4th Grade Orchestra are generally promoted to this orchestra for their 5th grade year.
The 5th Grade Orchestra meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at Indian Grove Elementary School in the large gym. Our rehearsals are 8:00- 8:35 a.m.
5th Grade Orchestra students are also expected to attend a sectional (small group lesson) on selected Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays 7:40-8:00 a.m. Our monthly sectional schedule can show you when those sectionals are.
The 5th Grade Orchestra presents four concerts each school year.
