CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

 

Life Skills      Grade 7

 

Life Skills augments the core curriculum with practical hands-on activities.  The activities reinforce core subject matter; provide opportunities to use creativity, critical thinking and problem solving for real life situations at home and in the workplace.

 

The goal of the Life Skills Department is to assist students in exploring and assessing their personal aptitudes, abilities, and interests to enable them to reach their full potential and attain a high performance work ethic.  The program enables students to improve their quality of life, to become lifelong learners, and to adapt to a society of constant technological change.
