GENERAL MUSIC

General Music is one of the Specials classes which is taught to 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade students at River Trails. All 6^th grade students an enrolled in one quarter of General Music, and about half of the 7^th and 8^th graders take the class.

General Music is a music appreciation class, a small chorus, and a keyboard performance lab. Students take General Music every year to expand their knowledge of the world of music and also get to review the skills they have already learned.
