RTMS Set Design is all about working on scenery, flats, and props for our school play, and having fun in between!
Our school has 10 flats that are each about 6 X 10' that we decorate to help the audience get into the mood of the play; and we create props to enhance the performance.

We set designers meet a lot of new students since the club is available to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We learn quickly that we must work as a team, and share our ideas.  Stage design is not an individual art; it is a combination of everyone's contributions and effort.

Since it takes 20 minutes to set up the work area, and 15 minutes to clean up, we often stay late on a nightly basis. But if that is a problem, to be a member, you can still take the activity bus home. 

Set Design Club will begin the end of February this year and will meet almost daily until the school play. If you have any questions about this activity ask the club sponsor.
