Dear Parents/Guardians:
We would like to welcome you and your child to the seventh grade. We are going to have a busy and productive year, filled with exciting learning experiences. Throughout the year, we will keep you informed of your child's progress and the activities that will make this a successful year. We feel homework is very important for several reasons. Not only does it reinforce concepts covered in class, it teaches responsibility, prepares students for upcoming tests, and helps students develop positive study habits. River Trails provides a HOMEWORK HOTLINE for your convenience. It can be reached any time after 4:00 pm by calling 298-1750. You can also find a copy of the Homework Hotline on our district’s web page by visiting www.rtsd26.org. For further details regarding the homework policy, refer to the student/parent handbook located in the assignment notebook. If your child is coming into school before 7:40 a.m., please remind him/her to obtain a morning admit pass from the teacher they will be working with. If your child is staying after school, please make arrangements for their journey home.
Working together, we hope to meet the needs of all our students. If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child, please feel free to contact us at anytime. Our team will make every effort to make seventh grade a positive and memorable experience for you and your child. ext 233 kpasek@rtsd26.org ext 239 tharmon@rtsd26.org Mrs. Zitis - Language Arts/Social Studies ext 232 gzitis@rtsd26.org ext 238 aschroeder@rtsd26.org ext 236 rpirtle@rtsd26.org ext 230 mfiordirosa@rtsd26.org ext 226 kvanstrom@rtsd26.org
